An Intro

Well, let's see....... My name is Heather, though I go by Lothirielwen online. It's my name in Elvish. I hit an LotR kick a while back and decided to go with that for my nic for something... it just bled into being used for everything.

I am married and the mother to two children, a son and a daughter. Right now, they are seven and five respectivly. But that will change...... on some days I wish they would grow up and be gone already and then there are days were I wish they never had to grow up at all. Time goes way to fast though......

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, own all six books.... not only went to the release party for book six but argued with Barnes and Nobles about the reserve list for the release date, in the end I won of course. I love to read in general, working on Anne Rice right now. I have read most of Tolkien's works, including the H.O.M.E. series and The Silmarlian..... right now all I own of his is the 50th Anniversary Edition of Lord of the Rings, one day I shall own the rest of his stuff.... I'm willing to give anything a chance as long as it grabs my attention within the first two or three chapters.....

I'm an advid music lover. I have something from every genra out there. Between what my husband listens to and what I listen to and then the stuff for the kids, we have a ton of music. Right now my fav bands are: HIM, AFI, The 69 Eyes, Nightwish and Within Temptation (I have a thing for Finish bands...) ..... although that is subject to change. I have a tad bit of a problem with getting hung up on one song for ages (thank god for the repeat button!!). I mean, I'm talking about listening to just one song over and over and over for months.... it's happened. And then, I get hung up on another song that is in a whole different catagory then the other one.... it drives the hubby nuts, but we both figure it's cheaper then meds.

I enjoy scrapbooking, though I don't think I'm very good at it. It's one of those things that takes time to really get good at it and to be honest for the last while I haven't really had the money to do anything with it. One day that will change... (and yes, I like letting my sentances go on, I'm sure my hs English teacher would be having a fit.....)

There's not much more to tell at this time an besides it's late in my neck of the woods, at least for me.....
